Riley Park/South Cambie Community Visions

A message from the City of Vancouver...

We would like to thank all those who participated in the Riley Park/South Cambie (RPSC) Visions program this past year. The Community Visions Team has been working with the community to develop a long range plan for the RPSC area. Residents came together in workshops last spring to discuss ideas and develop possible Directions for the neighbourhood. This May, the results of those workshops will be presented to the entire community in the RPSC Choices Survey. The Survey will be delivered to all households and businesses in the area.

The Survey is your opportunity to participate! By filling out the Survey you play an important role in the creation of your Community Vision. The Survey covers almost all aspects of the community: traffic and transportation, safety and services, housing, environment, parks and public spaces, large sites, neighbourhood centres (shopping areas), and community involvement. The Directions that are firmly supported in the Survey results will be presented to City Council for endorsement this Fall. Once approved, the RPSC Community Vision will be the long range plan for the community and it will help guide future community actions and City decisions on capital spending, programs and development in RPSC.

If you would like further information, please contact Celene Fung at (604) 873-7199 or via email at celene.fung@vancouver.ca or visit the website http://vancouver.ca/commsvcs/planning/cityplan/visions Be a part of the future planning of your community!
