Keep Vancouver Spectacular on May 28th!
Our great Mountain View Keep Vancouver Spectacular poster is now ready and will be hung around the neighbourhood. Keep the morning of May 28th saved in your calendar for the community clean-up. It's always fun, kids are encouraged to participate, and you get to meet your great neighbours!
Come help us “Keep Vancouver Spectacular.” Join in our annual, local clean-up day and help pick up litter and debris found in our streets and in the lanes. Here is what you need to know:
- Meet at the corner of 27th + Prince Albert Street (by Ruth Morton Church).
- Plastic gloves, tongs and bags will be provided. (If you want, bring your own rake, shovel, broom, dustpan or gloves.)
- Groups of two or more will be given a map and assigned an area between 25th and 32nd avenues, and St. Catherines to St. George Street.
- Tie up and then leave any bags of garbage you collect on the closest corner. The bags will be picked up later and taken to the Ruth Morton Church area.
- If you can’t help out on May 28, then consider going out at a day and time that will work for you and collect any remaining debris around your own block or lane. Any clean up will make a difference to our community.
